Puzzle in Chapter 3 - Spoilers inside!

I'm at the Old Sea Map and I know that the co-ordinates for the globe are the ones starting with 33N, and yet when I put that on the globe it isn't working. I'm using the 60, 40 near SA to line it up and no dice so far. Any help would be great :<

If you have enough strength, you can spin the cog wheels hidden on the wall on the side of the bookshelf by hand and open the secret passage.

I don't sadly, I'm trying to go with a secret/dialogue build. It's just frustrating because I know the answer is the log in the journal with the [ ] marks around it, and I found the co-ords on the map, but no matter where I click on it, it doesn't work.

I reloaded a save and respec'd to strength. For now until more people have played it I think it's better for me to not waste another 30 mins on this puzzle haha

This got me as well for a few minutes till i realized i was counting the numbers from the wrong side. When I started to count it from 0,0 rather than anywhere else i got it first try.

Make sure you enter 33N and 53W, you probably were going with 33N, 53E or 33S, 53W or 33S, 53E.

If you can't solve the puzzle, you may find a crowbar in the hallway that you can use to force the gears to grind

so.. anyone else having problems to unable to move the globe to put them onto the answers? cause the only buttons seem to work is interact and exit
edit: nevermind, had to rest my keybinds back to default to make it work

Hah! yeah I was watching a playthrough and apparently the arrowkeys won't turn the globe. That is just ridiculous.
