Will not boot.
I have just bought the game. I go to play it for the first time and nothing happens. Just says updating steam then nothing. I do have wnidows 10 if that makes any difference. Is this a new problem or am I the only one having this issue.

Works fine on my end, does it get stuck on the Steam window that says "Launching..."? If so then try restarting Steam or your computer.

I already restarted it. The little black box opens up that says "Preparing to launch Copr DX" closes then nothing.

So does the game even run for one second or not? Can you hear any sound?
Can you email me the log file at steamapps\common\Game Corp DX\GameCorpDX_Data\output_log.txt to support@endlessloopstudios.com

I seem to have the same issue. I click on play, get the steam window saying that it's preparing to launch and then nothing. Ran it as executive, in compatibility mode, verified cache integrety, restarted computer, etc. but no luck. I also have Windows 10, drivers and whatnot all updated. Although in compatibilty mode (Windows 7 and 8) the game does start but crashes when I get to the main menu.

I'm not sure in how far this is an issue with the game though. I have the exact same problem with Deus Ex: Human Revolution - Director's Cut.

EDIT: Found a solution. Go to the game's folder and then right click on GameCorpDX.exe and then go to properties and open the compatibility tab. Then disable display scaling on high DPI settings and afterwards the game should work. Also worked for DE:HR-DC

This is very odd, the log file doesn't show any error but it doesn't finish initialization either.
Can you all try the solution Monk of Deaths posted?

Things are getting wierd. I try and run it from the shotcut or steam nothing. I go into the folder and it starts to run. Makes it to the main screen and shuts down. I did as Monk of death suggests.

I got your new log and it says the Steam interface failed. Can you restart Steam and try again? Are you using a Steam beta build or something?

I just exited again and restarted it. I also checked I am not running a beta version of steam. Again would not load from steam or the shotcut. But started the process from the direct executable file. Once it tried to verify with Steam it shut down again.

I've uploaded a new build with some test logs to the Test branch. To use it right click Game Corp DX on your Steam Library -> Properties -> Betas -> Test
Then make sure the game updates and send me the log again. Thanks

Same outcome. Sent you the new log.

It seems the game isn't able to connect to Steam properly. Did you run through Steam or click the .exe directly? Try adding "Run this program as Administrator" then run the game through Steam.
Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game?

I did both tried through steam. Got the same running game then nothing. Then I tried wtih the .exe directly. I just tried running it as a Admin. Same error. I uninstalled it when I first started got the error.

Hmm ok try creating a file named "steam_appid.txt" and just write "399670" inside. Then save that file in steamapps\common\Game Corp DX and launch again.
