Video is a black screen

Well since the official forums for this software didn't help and I can't get a refund because to discover this issue it took over 2 hours to process the video. So maybe someone can help me get this 100$ piece of manure to work.

If I try to export a video into MPEG-4 the Video that comes out has no video it is black. The best I got from the official website was to play around with the settings for MPEG-4 Videos but that is well over a hundred thousand variations with no guide as to where to start.

Anyone have an idea as to how to fix this. My source video is AVI file format, 60 FPS, and 720p recorded off of my computer.
