Hopefully they don't include anything like this in their future games or design it poorly for players.
FWIW I made sure I lit up that last square (between the 2 pink ones) first, crossed straight back to the start, then worked in various diagonals across the rest. Only reset once, when I went flying trying to use WASD.
It's probably my only complaint about the game, the movement controls are incredibly clunky feeling and make the sliding puzzles more difficult than they should be.
So it's actually possible to start from the 'last' blue square first, the one between the two pink ones? Hm, maybe I tried that, but don't remember now. If I do a second playthrough of the game, I'll try what you mentioned. Thanks!

Yeah, besides some clunkiness & that ice part, the game's fun.
* Use the diagonals, not WASD
* Start from the end - at the square right between two of the no-no spots
* Slide back to the start after that
* Position yourself on the stone right in front of the entry archway, the second one to get is the one closest to this
* Press E a bunch of times, then F, then J, then etc, etc.
