It is abundantly clear that the devs just put in PvE without any thought of balancing it for single player use. The game was meant for PvP in the first place, 12-6 players can spanw on a map and would kill any scavs they come across, this would leave breathing room for other players to loot. But in PvE you're the only player on the map which means you have to deal with all the scavs yourself, and you can't always rely on PMCs. I'm not the first to say this most likely. Probably won't be the last. However I just have to say. Jesus christ the AI is tanky. Was playing on suburbs since every other map was foggy and screw fog with AI. Never a good thing. Went to altimart for some quests. Cleared it surprisingly however my friend died during it. Could devs please add a pause function for pve mode if your'e solo. I know its server side blah blah blah but still If PVE mode is seperate from PVP mode and your not playing co op then a pause function would make a solo players life much easier. The amount of health that scavs have in PvE is insane. theres absolutely no reason why i should have to dump multiple mags into a scav (where every shot shows blood as in its not hitting armor) and them not die. The vast disparity in TTK of you shooting scavs and scavs shooting you is ridiculous. There is no reason that scavs shooting pistols should be able to kill me from chest shots in level 4 armor in less than a mag when it takes 2 to 3 mags of 7.62 to kill them.
