pen not working

every time I use the select tool, everything will immediately stop responding. idk what it is, is not the tablet or the stylus, cause I can work on other drawing no problem. but when I try to work on the one I used the select tool on, nothing will work, it registers and follows the pen, but it wont write or erase, not even the bucket tool.

Has anyone experienced this problem too? and if you have, how do you fix it?

I've had this problem before. Try looking into the preference setting. Go to edit, preference, tablet. Try to switch between wintab and tablet pc and try turning off auto switch. Sometimes the auto switch will make your pen stop working as it switches between wintab and tablet pc.
