Not working?? [ " SOLVED " ](not really)

UPDATE: I contacted Portal Graphics Support, they seem to think I'm having issues with OpenCanvas 6, and gave me a solution to fix that program instead of a way to fix OpenCanvas 7. None of the solutions they had worked, but I did inform them that someone else was having the same issue and made sure to put emphasis on the 7 so there is less confusion, because I guess they're used to seeing complaints for OC6 instead of OC7. So hopefully they see that people are having issues with OC7 and try to fix it soon. I will probably update on progress of fixing OC7 in one or two weeks, because that's how long it took them to reply to my email, and hopefully it gets fixed really soon!

UPDATE 2: they said they don’t know how to fix the problem, and that they couldn’t recreate what happened. So now I’m stuck with a broken, $50 program, that I can’t return because I’ve used it for over two hours.

UPDATE 3: So PGI. was unable to help me, so I had to tell steam that there was a problem with my purchase, inform them that I was an unhappy customer, and tell them to give me a full refund. They gave me my money back, and I bought FireAlpacaSE, and it's so much better. But PGI still has no idea what was wrong, so I recommend going to the steam support page, clicking on OC7, and clicking on "problem with purchase", ask them for a full refund, and buy a working program. I wish there was a better way, because this program was amazing, but if you want to create digital art without any big problems, your only option will probably be getting a refund and buying a different program. And if you have been using OC7, and it just now started acting like this, you will loose all of your art, and will have to recreate it, unless you have taken a picture/screen shot of it, or uploaded it to twitter, tumblr, instagram, ect. It sucks, and I really wish none of this happened, but I'm glad I was able to get a refund.

I got this program yesterday and started making a drawing. I fell in love with the program after using it for a few minutes and was so happy that it worked well. I enjoy using digital way more than traditional because it's clean, neat, and I don't have to waste paper or worry about permenent marks, the paper tearing, or anyother problems I would normally have with traditional art. I saved the drawing I made in my documents, and it's still there, so that's good. I wanted to continue working on the drawing today and show my sister and her friend what I was working on, but when I went to start up the program, nothing showed up but the blue background of the program, which should've had the drawing area and the drawing tools on it, but it didn't and the bar at the top with the program icon, file, edit, image, layer, select, filter, view, ruler, event, window and help drop down menus was still there. And in the bottom left corner there are three lines and at the bottom right there are lines seperating "off", "Tablet 1", and "Tablet Coordinates"(like this on the right: | Off | Tablet 1 | Tablet Coordinates | . And like this on the left: | | | ). And the minimize/hide, fullscreen/smallscreen, and exit("X") buttons are still there in the top left corner, with only the minimize/hide and fullscreen/smallscreen buttons working. I can't right click the program's icon at the bottom of the screen to turn it off, either. I can't even open my drawing or start a new project at all! If I do, the edit, files, help and other menus won't drop down and let me select them or any of their options, it won't show any thing but an "X|" right under the filter word on the bar at the top, and the program will randomly stop responding over and over. It does the same thing if I open the program from the files and if I try to open my drawing from the files, it doesn't work and steam says it can't open the drawing. I tried restarting my laptop twice, didn't work. Shutting down my laptop, didn't work. Restarting the program, didn't work. Restarting steam, didn't work. It wouldn't even let me exit out of the program without using the task manager. Is anyone else having these problems, or have had these problems and know how to fix them? Thanks!

Have you tried reinstalling the program? Also, I'm not sure if this work on oC7 but try removing its registry key. Not on my laptop atm, so sorry couldn't be more of a help.

I don't have a registry key and reinstalling the program didn't work.
