Runtime error 3024 when trying to load the game

I downloaded the game last night, played it for awhile the last two days but the game got stuck when I was saving. I stopped it with Task Manager after a half hour and have shut down the computer twice but still getting the same error.

Text of the error says: 'Could not find C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Bowl Bound College Football\setup.dat'. I checked, and the file is there as a locked database. This is my first Steam game, so I don't know if this is a common issue or not. Thanks for any help.

In your game Library:
Rt-Click on Bowl Bound > Properties > Local Files > Verify Integrity Of Game Cache

Let it run and replace any missing or corrupted game files. Then try again.

If your last save didn't finish doing so, you still may not be able to resume from that save point. But hopefully this will get your game working again.

If the above fails, I'd recommend deleting that locked database file and then doing the file integrity check again to replace it with a fresh copy.
