So... I have this lack of NumPad problem...

So I have a Corsair K65 keyboard. I couldn't even make it through the tutorial because I did really have a way of rebinding the NumPad keys. Short of buying a new keyboard (not going to happen) is there a way to get a button combo combination? IE CNTL+1, Shift+1, ect. ect.

It takes a lot of keys to bind everything in this game.
That is one of those compact keyboards right?

Caps lock, F12, Printscreen, Break and Num Lock are all thats left.


You'd prolly come out better making a request on the official forums about perhaps adding another modifier key somehow. I think they just added something along the lines of this to the gamepad bindings.

Oh, there is keyboard.jpg in the game folder you might take a look at. It takes a while to customize controls to taste in this sim. I can't imagine trying on a compact KB.

He may be able to add all the numpad keys directly to the Alt + bindings.

Pretty much. I'm honestly thinking about stopping at BestBuy on the way home and getting one of those add on numberpads keyboards. I know it sounds ridiculous but I never realized how much I end up using those keys. Whoops. Should have thought about that when I bought this.

I had a similiar problem, and told my wife that I dont have a number pad on may laptop. So she found one for me on line, with a nice travel case and everything.

it was just a numberpad, with a usb cable attached. worked great. (I only needed it for Dwarf Fortress)
