On track! - Achievement impossible to get

So i try already long time to get this achivement but i always get LOST! i start at right time but opponents car is too fast! i think you ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up something with it! Please fix it.

Dont know why but opponent just drives too fast away already on first corner. i watched other player raced and it's car was not so slow like my car is. it was a big difference. =(

I am gonna be honest... maybe you are right... I didn't know they changed Twinsen's velocity so maybe they changed the car velocity as well and that makes things impossible for that race...

I can suggest that maybe the auto tracking camera when activated moves Twinsen in such velocty... maybe if it can be desactivated the velocity will be normal, I need test that but is a first idea.

In any case I will play LBA 2 in next days, therefore when ready to make that race I will tell you if you are right or not.

EDITED: In an off topic side... I noticed that you played Scorn and you was a kickstarter proyect backer. Personally I love Scorn like it is right now, (but I don't like how they ♥♥♥♥♥♥ the performance of the game so things lag a little since the last update), and from the videos I saw I didn't feel myself scammed in any way, (but maybe just recently when I discovered that they removed the digital art book pdf file)... not even after reading the art book... but I am curious to know your impressions with more detail if you want to do so. That way I maybe can see see how much truth is inside the idea from you backers, that this game was really intended to be a Quake game or something and over all much much longer. I really don't know why did it upset so much the people that helped to this proyect... I never followed this kickstarter and the things I saw through videos personally is what at the end I recived... maybe just shaped in other ways at some point... but in a very nice result under my point of view at the end of the whole proyect. I personally never expected that much combat or puzzles just walking through that world... Therefore, what I don't get is how is possible that despite any word from that proyect, (spoke or wroten...) nobody noticed the images and videos that beyond any other thing around speaks by theirselfs... In other words, I don't get when did you feel at any point that this game could be other thing giving the latest videos and pictures. This is just a friendly request... is evident that that game dissapointed you... but I honestly think that such reaction is very shocking to me because again... the videos and pictures I was able to see... was enough to convince me that I wanted the game... I never cared about descriptions, I never care at any game because for me is compleatly logical that they are set, such texts, to convice you to play a game... is just a basic thing... to never trust sellers speach. Just judge the product itself. And as I said giving the pictures and the videos.... I personally don't feel upset by this game... while I admit giving the last update that this company is menaicing to brake the game until making it unplayable for just God knows what reasons.

If you ask me, I think that Microsoft helped the proyect... if this is true I think that they must be in charge of such bad policy related with store description... and recent bad decisions... like removing the PDF file, not because promotion ended but to push forward the phisical book evidently. But even if this was true, even if they are not good in buisness by their own... I still think that the product is really nice.

i was kickstart backer yes, long wait time and when it came out i discovered its just a long walking simulator. was expecting more of this game. only problem i had with the game was in one big area where was a big guy whitch was a doorway to different areas, there were lot of small and medium enemies as well. so the problem was when i shot one of them who was away from others, every other mob aggroed...it was like 5 small ones and maby 2 medium huys same time attacking..it was just silly. didnt discover any other bug but game was just boring..really boring. i was just sad.

I just tried and it worked. Maybe try to make more sharp turn, there is a few curves the racer does it more openly

You don't have to beat the opponent, just follow him on the track. Avoid any collision with him or he will yell at you and keep close to him. If you hit him or he get too far away, you need to restart the race.

THE PROBLEM why i wrote here is i cant even follow him. 1/4 race track and i get LOST and race is over. i dont go over edges, i dont hit him, he just drives away so fast i cant get even close to him. trust me i seen other pple doing this race and my car is way slower!

No idea what is happening maybe a video could help us to understand better.

I just unlocked the archivement. Placing your car in the correct position before starting the race is crucial. You must stay as close to the exit line as possible. It's the unique advice I can give you.

Yesterday a question hit me... do you wait the other rider to speak to you before trying the archivement???? Because you must wait him to talk first before starting the race.

YES. i wait at start and when he talks and starts to move i start to follow. well at least i try. you cant hit his car or you get LOST and race is over, you cant fall too far but already at first corner he just drives away so fast , at second corner im already too far from him and i get LOST. trust me ive seen other players do the race but they'r car's seems to drive faster!

Do you use controller or keyboard? If you use Controller maybe the control is not giving the full signal to move the car forward.

I've lost count of how many times i have tried and restarted the race and second time after replaying the whole game and with new game+ and without ...hmm...

Game creators should test this out. No luck after so long time to get the achivement.

They can't do nothing... because it's only you both... A video if I didn't say it already could help... I still think you are not doing things correctly somehow... for me the thing works as intended.

What I am trying to say is that they must be able to recreate your problem to know if they can do something to solve the problem if there is a real problem inside the game and not at your computers side.
