Woodcutter not working
I don't know what is going wrong, but the woodcutter is just spleeping in the workshop. So I am not able to move futher then level 4. The same happens also in free play mode.
Unfortunately I don't have a clue. Looks like a bug with Windows 10 :(
Those anybody have an idea?

Same happening to my games - tunic maker sleeps even though warehouse is right next to him full of linin. Also cant save a game - maybe its a windows 10 thing.

Try uninstalling it and reinstalling it, if that does not work right click on the EXE file in the files and make it compatible to an older version of windows.

BUMP.

I'm having exactly the same issue. Woodworkers don't work. Has anyone else encountered this and verified a fix that works?

Is the warehouse that he would deliver too full?

This is not a Windows 10 issue. I am still using Windows 8.1.
I've been having the same problem. Some sort of glitch in the game. Sometimes my workers will do as they're told and sometimes not. I reinstalled the game once, which seemed to fix the problem, but now the problem has come back. I'd also appreciate being pointed to the right place to get a solution that will allow normal game play.

I have never had this issue with wood. Is there anyway you can show me screenshots of your city.
Try verifying the cache of the game. This problem (workers not working) happened to me once. I verified the cache and started the game again, and they started to work.

Noone has answered if they checked if thier warehouses are full. Workers wont work if they dont have a place to store stuff.

I think its more an issue of people learning the basics of the game.

My tunic makers wont produce tunics and my well workers will not draw water. This has just started since my partner upgraded to windows 10 as I've never had an issue with 'lazy workers' before.

Right click on the game and verify integrity of the game cache

Yep, This is not an issue with just not knowing how to play the game. I have empty warehouses, Or sometimes empty granaries, and various people, on various levels, just don't work. For example, I have four functioning wheat farms, the farmers are bringing wheat to a warehouse, the guys from the mill go, grab the wheat, bring it back to the mill, then take a nap. They literally just lie down, get up, lie down, get up, over and over until the city starves. Yes, I also have bakeries, but they never get any flour to bake bread with, because the mill guys are napping. I have tried verifying the cache, deleting some xml files then verifying the cache (as recommended on another thread), completely uninstalling and reinstalling the game, more than once. So far, nothing that will allow me to play the game normally.

I'm not sure how a screenshot would help, because it LOOKS like a building that is functioning, except that the workers are just laying down and getting up. I was really enjoying this game until it started doing this. :(
