Concerned at the lack of news
It's been 11 days now since the dev said he had emailed valve to ask them what was up with the game being removed from people's libraries and we had a user in one thread give a very complete, detailed, technical answer of what had happened and what needed to be done. The game is still not properly in my library though.

I have still not heard back. Valve take ages to reply.

You could try playing it at GameJolt or Itch until its sorted:

Sorry for the problem. I will email them again.
Thanks.

Hi, and I was just wondering that have you ever read or understood what others posted here and here? It's because of an error with the configuration with the package, and jfietkau has explained almost all what you need to know for correcting this problem.

Just follow the steps they explained, have Valve approve the change, problem solved. You should be able to change billing type of a package from Free on Demand to CD Key since there is an example here[steamdb.info] but you might need approval from Valve, I'm not entirely sure. You do not need to ask Valve why it is so, as others have already explained. What you want to do is simply follow what others said.

I can't see how I can revert the billingtype of package or change the billing type. I have looked and there are no options I can see to change.
Couldn't you just make it not free again please ?

I have no option to do that
Fabian, have steam not got back to you at all yet ? It's been a long time. I want this back in my steam library. I paid for it. This is not OK.
Why was the game made free to play? I'm a steam collector and I bought the bundle it was in and used the key, so that it would be added to my steam library... it is no longer in my steam library, and this irritates me. If this isn't sorted out you're going to have people leaving droves of thumbs down/negative reviews just because they've been ripped off, and it will utterly destroy the reputation of the game, as is currently happening to the "Days Under Custody" game

There has to be a way to revert the original billingtype package and create on top, a free on demand package to compensate.

Valve got back to me today. They said that if you install the game from the store page it will show up in your library.

... Well obviously it will. It will for any free game. We want the game properly in our libraries though, which means like all the other games we bought it stays there when uninstalled and gives us +1 to gamecount.

I'm not sure what else to do. Contact Valve if you are having any problems.
