Xbox controller stopped working

i've played this game many times using xbox controller and for a week the game doesn't see the controller. Controller works on every other game on steam but not on this one. Also tried uninstalling and installing the game but still the same.

Hello! Just to make sure, have you tried to disconnect your controller and connect it to your PC again before you start Business Tour?

im seeing this issue since the last update of the game, before it worked fine.
