Cheating going on

I've seen the same thing. I didn't think it was cheating until I saw this post. But it makes sense. I played another game where there were weird graphical glitches when cheaters pumped values up beyond the proper limits, and the developer explained that when he looked into the graphical glitch he found it was due to cheating. He had to tighten up his game code or something. I'm no programmer, but it's very possible in this case too.
