what opinion does everyone here have on the images for the (probable) sequel that have been posted every so often at masonlindroth.tumblr.com ?

It looks like Mason is using a lot more tools besides claymation (a bit back in the archives he was working with fluid animation). besides that I would love to buy it, it looks amazing so far.

My favorite thing about new game is that our boy finally learned to jump.
I wonder if some characters from the first game will appear in the second...

first of all the images are amazing. and the trailer looks better then the first game. i'd buy the game and i at least hope one of the first party members make it back. i don't care which one i just want one back.

I know it's just a trailer, but it looks like there'll be only two companions. I think like that, because Mason showed all available companions in the first game's trailer too.
Also, it seems that it isn't Wayne whom we'll be playing as. Unless he had a plastic surgery and changed his name.

Yeah, i thought the same thing about the "Wayne" of the second trailer: he seems another person. Maybe he is a younger version. Anyway, the game looks awesome. I hope it would be release not too late

I'm super hyped for Hylics 2, I dig the progression in Mason's art style tbh? I like the more intricate and less aggressively dithered claymation renders, though idk how to feel about the cgi animation he was showing off on his Tumblr, and I'm a little weary towards the Unity engine swap. Either way, the game looks cool as hell and I'll definitely buy it.

Based on an image posted on Mason's tumblr I think the main plot point or one of the plot points in the game is to rescue Wayne which would be kickass. Whether or not Wayne is a love interest, member of the same species, or even Decres' father or grandfather remains to be seen.

Either way it would be awesome to have Wayne in the sequel and am highly looking forward to it. Going to be my first day one purcahse I've ever made on a game and would be made even better if Mason some how got some Pre-order stuff going which included some neat bonuses but I won't hold my breath.
