58 horas me tomó mi primera partida. Recomendadísimo. Súper inmersivo, historia espectacular. Lo único "malo" es que sólo está en inglés. Existen traducciones pero dudo que sirvan para las últimas versiones.

Trae varios mods los cuales se pueden activar o desactivar a gusto:
"HDTF" o modelos de personajes en HD, horrible no lo recomiendo.
"New Vision", texturas mejoradas del mundo, espectacular.
"Shifter" y "Biomod", añaden armas y modifican algunos aumentos/habilidades. Biomod ES Shifter pero con un par de mejoras.

I'm gonna be honest, I haven't actually played the Revision mod aspect of this yet. I'm just giving a positive review because by disabling the Revision maps, this mod provides a very easy way to get a version of Deus Ex that runs on modern machines, supports widescreen resolutions, and supports cloud saves with no extra fiddling required. So regardless of if you're interested in the remixed maps, this is still a must-download even if you just want to play the vanilla game.

For context, I picked up Deus Ex at launch, back when Ion Storm was still a company. Like many Deus Ex fans, I have played through it multiple times, probably 60+ times at this point. It is a game i come back to at least twice a year. I've played it with every kind of play style available and never get bored. Honestly it is probably the only game that I'm good enough at to speedrun. All this to say that I know the game in and out and while I'm normally a purist when it comes to classic games (I even play Morrowind without mods most of the time), this is one of the best remake/remasters out there in my opinion and is absolutely worth checking out, even for the fans like myself who have played it obsessively over the decades.

The thing i like the most about the game and really appreciate the developers for is that they don't force you to use their version of the game, which i also find really good. As we speak I am running the game completely vanilla with no changes. The game gives you an almost overwhelming amount of ways to tailor the game to your preference, including graphics, weapon/skill balancing, new/modified worlds, etc. Not everything hits, but the vast majority does.

The creators have done a great job patching bugs over the years and making it playable on modern hardware. They added over 200 achievements to get, and these achievements aren't phoned in, most of them are really unique and require different playstyles and doing things that you weren't even sure you could do in the game. They let you choose between game mods - vanilla, shifter, biomod, etc. and you can get very granular when starting a new game. One modifier that I really like makes non-silenced weapons fire 10x louder, which compensates for the somewhat blind/deaf NPCs in the game.

They have updated almost every map to varying levels of success. UNATCO HQ is better in some ways, like Gunther and Paul having their own offices, but the layout is a little confusing until you get used to it. The mole people settlement is an objective upgrade in my opinion, they add more enemies to fight and structures to explore. Some, like Area 51 base aren't as well done because they changed the map layout so much that the image of it that you get to help you complete the main objective is no longer of any assistance. As a whole though, I'd say the remake is an 8/10, and although I mostly prefer the vanilla map, I split my playthroughs 70%/30% biased towards the new layouts because of how unfamiliar they are, and because they add so much content and life to the world, and completing achievements like finding all of the collectibles is a lot of fun (you think you know the map inside and out until you try to find them all).

tldr: I have been playing this game for ~25 years now and this is by far my favorite mod/restoration that I've ever played. This is due to the fact that the devs aren't so egotistical to remove the vanilla experience and force you to use their content, and also because of how you can customize the game exactly to your preference.

The mod is kinda good but they should have improved the lightning quality and some stuff, but still it can be very nice mod to play Deus Ex in better quality possible

Also it has problems like if you upgrade render to Direct 10 you can sometimes have crash (if change to desktop) or some lag at some point, using the Direct3D 9 render is not worth because still the lightning quality of game is very dark for any reason, or i'm not sure if i did something wrong

i wish they work better on lightning quality of game in some areas and have optimized anymore both the render and the game in general.

Still i did like the Graphics and interface of it, as well the achievements just make the classic redpilled game become more alive and interesting to be played nowadays at which it's still fun, great and interesting.

Good mod. I didn't use any of the "revisions" but I still like this. (I just wanted to play the base game) I appreciate the fact that you can turn all of the extras off and basically just use the mod as a launcher with achievements. (That's what I did) Great way to play Deus Ex on modern systems.
However I did watch the "revised" intro cutscene when I booted up the game for the first time. The original cutscene is MUCH better. Idk why they changed it at all. Still recommend the mod, just for the fixes and achievements

The easiest way to play the Greatest Game of All Time. Updated graphics, music, quality of life improvements, maps, Biomod/Shifter, with the ability to play 100% vanilla if you don't want any new stuff. Plus, 255 achievements!

Deus Ex is not a game. Deus Ex is prophetic truth.

This game is ahead of its time. Even at the release time it was revolutionary but now its more relevant than ever before. As it goes saying it predicted everything that we knew more or less but now it became our daily basis. This game should be taught in schools and private teachings as it raise strong minded individuals and mindsets that we need more than ever.

Cybergenetics, biomes and willing to act like a god will not lead us to a stable structure. The game will speak with you in heavy dialogue and monologue in your head about heaviest topics. You will learn and you will adapt or you will die trying. There are other possibilities but you have to know the truth.

This game will give you to solve the puzzle. Only you will decide how to make it best. It will give you many questions at first but as more you go the more you build yourself as the one. The real one with a machine or with a believes. Which one is stronger only destiny will decide.

This game is not easy. Even with enchants you sometimes can feel weak. But there is no shame to be weak as you build yourself for upcoming goal that will lead you to a salvation. I never liked to play Deus ex as gun blazing I always preferred to be stealthy shadow guy. This game is hard at first but as you learn you will notice that you overcome the game view. Suddently it will not crush you but you will be crushing it.

So many theories so many opinions about this game all overall all over the place. The only thing is left to say that you need to experience it yourself to understand it. No opinion no review can justify it. Its your path that you need to take.

One thing is clear: this is one of THE BEST games ever produced. More than 20 years passed and nothing have changed. Even when I die this still be one of the greatest of them all.

MUCH Better than when it first launched.
There are now options to use the original maps and/or music if you desire, while retaining the ability to play practically every well-known Deus Ex mod in whatever configuration you desire.
All this while retaining the many quality of life improvements built into revision as a whole that just make the game play and run better without having to tinker with the ancient engine.

This mod used to be just a novelty but now is the definitive way to play even the original game.

I've been playing Deus Ex since 2001 at least once a year, or until someone mentions it, so I think it is safe to say I am somewhat of a fan/insane person. This mod is amazing and it does it's best to replicate the original game theme/level design seamlessly. I cannot recommend it enough, for both newcomers and veterans alike. Great stuff.
