Adjusting mouse sensitivity only works for camera look-around, not the cursor

Is there a way to adjust mouse sensitivity, but specifically for the cursor?

Adjusting it in-game only changes camera look-around sensitivity, not cursor speed. It is unusually fast, which makes it very difficult to make selections in menus.

Reducing mouse speed in Windows isn’t an option because it also reduces camera-look around sensitivity.

I’ve poked around the internet and could not seem to find a solution. Has anyone else experienced this issue and fixed it?

No there isn't sadly, I really hope something can be done, especially since this has been fixed on Unreal 227i fanpatch a while ago, so Unreal Engine 1 can support true raw mouse input.
By the way the problem isn't really mouse sensitivity but more mouse acceleration, menus and UI in general has an insane amount of mouse acceleration, and nothing can be done to prevent this.

The best "workaround" for the moment is to both reduce windows sensitivity and your mouse DPI to a very low value (800 or even lower) and then increase mouse sensitivity ingame. It's still far from perfect but helps a bit.
