Cementery under the chapel...
Spoilers incoming! so pls stop reading when you dislike some spoilers ;)

so, i'm unter the chapel, saw 2 augmentation upgrade chanisters and can't reach them, np i don't really want them/need them. found some traps like the chamber with the ancient weapon (crap), afterwards these 2 aug containers, some crokodile likes in a chamber and the last one is this little chamber wit gas, the door shuts behind you and infront of you.
i have no chance to escape this room (expect ghost cheat but i dislike to use it -.-) so, i miss a button or something else what rescues my ass out of this or is there no way out and i can be happy i made a savegame before i triggered it? (maybe a bug and so there is no escape?)

There is a brick to push.

I thought it was a bug when I couldn't find the object that opens the trapdoor, but I just didn't look hard enough. The gas room is the same, you have to look harder. :)

thx, got it, i'm not sure how i could not see that one or why it was not shown when i looked before :(
just curious, any chance to get the 2 augmentation without using cheats? :D

i don't think i need them to max all my augmentations because i recieved 2 "random" upgrade canisters in hells kitchen. one from the brawl ni hells kitchen with nsf and unatco troops (a random nsf member had one when i looted him). The second was during the raid on Paul Denton and his appartment (one of the roboters had one, i tranquilized all enemys and they did not blew up, looted it from a unconcious one). Do enemys have a random loot table and with lot of luck you can have a upgrade more?

After picking up the sword ... is there a way out after the door to the "sword chamber" closes? Is the trap door (?) right in front of the coffin functional or is it just an odd texture?

I think you need to interact with one of these wood pillar or something. I might be wrong though.

That did it, thank you. The upper left wood support structure has a usable beam. So easy when you know where to look :)

Spooky stuff feels like the catacombs in Thief 1

Not sure if I like unobtainable loot but that is because I am a completionist.. that key in the armory at Unatco (before you are allowed in) always laughed in my face as well :( I know it is not an important key (ghosted in there to check) but just the fact I cannot "loot" everything makes me nervous if im doing a completionist run :)

I believe the devs promised to remove stuff like that in this thread:

I feel the same way: If I see an item, there has to be a way to get to it, otherwise it serves no purpose other than to frustrate the player.

A few questions about the ancient sword:

How does the internal damage compare to the NEB?

And was the NEB nerfed in Revision? I remember it doing 100 DMG with low tech at Untrained in Vanilla, but the damage was calculated in a different way internally, so the player could not destroy every door in the game.

Finally, which one is better for destroying locked doors/containers, the NEB or the ancient sword? I guess I could take both with me and test it out a bit, but maybe someone has already done a few tests?

base dmg counts, so the weapon with the highest base dmg is the best to open locked doors. i think the dragon tooth has a base dmg of 20, other high value weapons have also 20 base dmg, so it does not matter which one you take.
but regarding killing ppl the higher the complete value, the higher the dmg you do.
i could not destroy doors with strength >= 70, so use lams on these specific one... (had max low tech weapons, plus max strength augmentation and the boost from the other augmentation)
finished the game with all augmentations maxed and like 7 upgrade containers in inventory...
the weapon was not rly nerfed, it was redone, it had before 100 dmg, not it has 20x5, so also 100 dmg, it just lowered its base dmg to not one shot open all doors.
there was a guide to undo the dmg and take it back to 100 but you had to cheat for that and do something else, i can't remember which thread explained it, but i saw it here.
The original game is OLD, therefore, there is no such thing as a spoiler anymore.
