Follow the path shown on the map. You'll notice that it seems to go through a wall. You'll find a wall with a hole in it near the top of the staircase, destroy it and crawl through to find the exit.
Even signs or something. Incredibly frustrating.
Perhaps afrer freeing the prisoners the map Chad gives could have an indicator where to break the wall.
The music and atmosphere of the catacombs was good though. Just needs to be a bit less of a maze of twisting corridors all looking the same.
The above ground sections of Paris are amazing though. Really well done on that.
