Constant crashing on Save and Load menus
I've uninstalled and reinstalled the game and it still happens. I open the game, try to go the the load menu and it instantly crashes to desktop. Trying to start a new game works only that trying to save the game causes the same crash.

And no, I don't want to start from scratch to be honest. I was in Area 51 when this started happening, literally about to merge with Helios and unlock the No Proof, Grand Host, Xenophile, and Self-Sufficient achievements, and probably some other achievements all in one go.

If it helps: I quick saved before my computer froze and had to reboot. Then this started happening. Fix pl0x.

Look for your Revision.log file, sounds like one of your saves got corrupted

Try removing the Save\Save0001 folder

Great, but then it says that Save0002 is the problem. It started with Save-006. Is it just going to keep doing this until all my save games are gone?

Save0002 deleted. Now it's crashing and saying it's Save0007. What, do I delete that too? This is getting a bit much.

Try removing the quicksave folder instead

Thank you. That seems to have done the trick. And luckily there was one save left near where I was when it first crashed :happyoctober::heart:
I usually get crashes that don't let me play :( . Can anybody help me ? Here's the log if it's helpfull...

Okay. I love the developers and I appreciate your work. But this has happened again, except that this time I had to delete ALL of my saves. I was literally a map or two away from getting the Laid to Rest achievement after carrying Paul's body through to Chapter IX: Wall Cloud. And I had been collecting all of the collectibles on Realistic difficulty. Could we possibly get a new solution to this other than having to start from scratch every time this happens? :CryCat:

ALL your saves? It's rare that it happens, and if it does it should only affect one save. Are you sure that it isn't just one save that's corrupting it and not all of them?

Last time the log file said: Warning: The file '..\Save\QuickSave\SaveInfo.dxs' contains unrecognizable data

Try seeing if it says which file this time?

Last time it affected several saves but there were a few that were intact. This time around I would delete the save that was causing the issue only to have it say that it was another save. Like it would say "Save0002" in the critical error so I'd delete that, then try to go to the load menu and it would say "Save0007" this time around so I'd delete that, then it would say "Save0005" and I repeated the process until all my saves were gone. So I was totally screwed. I tried deleting the quick save before any of the others and they were all still suffering from the same issue.

Unfortunately they're toast. I've started afresh. But I'll remember to come straight back here if it happens again. It only seems to happen if it crashes as I'm saving. The sound repeats forever and then blue screens on me. It does that "dumping physical memory" countdown.
