How to get free soda or candy bar from vending machine?

For the petty thief achievement... It's the only one left I can't figure it out.

Tried shpcking it with emp or stun baton? I don't know for sure but it seems intuitive/

I've already tried using emp grenade and stun baton and also shooting vending machine with lvl4 sniper skill, it destroy the machine but won't give me anything.

edit: nvm I know how to do it now. need lvl4 computer skill.

It could be the first time your at unatco HQ and hear the 2 mechanically augmented agents arguing over the vending machine not working and I think you can activate the same machine they were arguing over for a free soda not 100% sure though.
