Halves the inventory size.
Yeah, Trenchcoat is designed to make being a packrat a bit harder; you need to be more decisive about what you take along. For me, Deus Ex has always been about improvising through a situation, and I think having to make more impactful inventory choices builds on one aspect of that.
As for OP, I found Trenchrealism fairly easy; just stick to Pistols and Grenades. Also, Environmental Training is insanely useful; at Master, you can actually eat a pistol headshot with a Ballistic Vest on without dying, and you can toggle those items at will now.
