(further info: When I tested and said it worked, I was testing on my own with my phone and two browsers on pc. Since I was doing the inputs one at a time, it appeared to work. The hangs I have experienced have all been with other people which naturally means the inputs are a bit more chaotic and so if you haven't tested in this kind of situation, I suggest trying as such)
Regarding quiplash, I already said what I did before to make it work, I followed the directions here https://jackboxgames.zendesk.com/entries/69269160-Solution-for-black-screen-problem- but obviously with the app id of jackbox 2 instead, I just deleted the save off my freind's macbook (it wasn't 0kb, but whatevs). It seemed to work for the rest of the day, even after quitting and restarting later on. I enabled family sharing so my friend could play the game at work (he wanted to demonstrate fibbage etc as a pitch to hopefully make a similar game of their own), but I guess since he wasn't using MY steam account from which we deleted the save, he too ran into the black screen problem with quiplash again...
perhaps quiplash is a mac/savegame specific issue? It seems bidiots is an input/multiplayer syncing issue as far as i can tell.
Hope any of this helps!
I've got a bunch of mates over to play and ........... :((
Force quit the party pack and exit Steam, then try the game again after logging back in
In you games library select TJPP2
Right click on game and select properties
Select the BETAS tab
Enter the password jackboxgames in the acces code field
This will enable a branch called "beta". After the update installs, try the games and let us know if the problems continue
I dont know if this is a problem with the beta branch or something else, but if it does it again then I dont think I'll be able to test the beta...
Seems to have fixed our Bidiots problem!
Will update if anything happens.
In case you need a video for clarification...

at least it doesnt completely crash steam for you! :P
So I think this beta version is way more broken than the public version lol
Did you try a reboot of your PC? We're not sure what is happening there, beta branch running fine for us
Yeah, this beta is suprisingly running great for us too.
No more freezes/crazy talk!
Oh wow, can't believe I didn't think of that, lol. It's working fine for me now, hadn't hit a snag in my test game. Thanks guys for taking the time to fix this!
yeah it crashed steam, i reloaded steam but was unable to try because it thought the game was still running, i was unable to close the process so had to reboot, tried again and same thing so yeah had to reboot a second time to end the process. Not sure what the problem is, I will try verifying files or something, but probably not until tomorrow now. Glad it's fixed for some people, guess you at least touched something that is related to the problem even if it broke my personal game ;P
Go to Properties > BETAS and choose opt out and see if that gets things back to normal, you can then try opting in again
