It's worth noting that Skype crashed the screen sharing a few times during the session (2 times in ~4hours) but since it can be quickly fixed by starting another screen sharing session in a matter of seconds and there's almost no delay at all during the stream, I'd say it's really the best option out there.
That would give you the basics, unfortunately bare-bones like that your friends will be able to hear themselves. I have audiomeeter and set desktop audio to go through there while discord plays directly into my headphones. Discord's input is set to audiomeeter so it gets the game sound, me but not themselves. Works perfectly!
