Not starting, weirdest problem ever...

I have this problem for 2 or 3 months or so now, before that, everything worked as it should.
When I start TJPP2 on my computer to test it, everything works as it should.
When I stream TJPP2 to a laptop as a test, everything works as it should.
When I stream TJPP2 to my steamlink to play with friends, the game starts up, after I press a to continue, the game gets stuck on the (loading?) animation of stacked dominos with the turning circular white arrow.
I own TJPP1 to 4, and TJPP2 is the only TJPP that won't start while streaming to steamlink.

I validated files, I removed the game and reinstalled it, and it won't solve anything.
What could this be?

I've begun to notice this too when playing on Linux. It seems to happen when Steam is in Big Picture Mode, you don't need to be streaming for it to happen.

That means I can work around by closing big picture! :D
I still hope this will be repaired though. Thank you so much for the info.

Having this same problem on SteamOS, which runs in BPM. Bought this and the original JBPP on sale at Humble after getting JBPP3 earlier this week and loving it. Hopefully this will be resolved soon :-\
