Windowed mode not an option?

I have tried launch options and Alt+Enter but I still cannot achieve windowed mode. Anyone have any tips?

Under options once you enter a game there is a fullscreen option you can toggle, for me the screen just goes crazy and i have to exit and restart the game but you may have more luck. Maybe different windowed modes will become an option in the future.

I had the same problems.
Tried editing the lauching options. (-windowed or sw)

Doesnt work either since its has a launcher :(
Then tried adding Lords2.exe as game shortcut and edited launch options to force the actual .exe to run in windows and all it does is crash then :(
Playing in fullscreen 27inch monitor is quite annoying.

You should be able to do it with third party tools such as DxWnd

You can do it. You must set the desktop resolution to 8 bits (256 color), start the game, and then set it to windowed. The desktop gets ugly as hell, but it works. After you set it in game and exiting it, you can set it back to 32 bits. Then you go on Lords2.exe proprieties > compatibility > set it to run on 256 colors. That's it.

At least it worked to me.

Thanks for the suggestion, but I can't figure out how to get Windows 10 to use 8 bit color on desktop :(
