But I had to install Display Play which was asked to me at the 1st launch.
And then do the properties of the exe file there?
my old laptop died, so i bought a new pc with win11 home. It arrived yesterday.
As i installed LOTR2, I was asked to download and install a necessary component. I think it was called dx direct play or something like that. Also, after first running the game, my antivirus apparently flagged Lords2.exe , but automatically placed the game in the safe app list. (any chance either of these could be an issue for someone?)
Anyway after this the game ran. unfortunately i have widescreen and for some reason it gets stretched and distorted, and i couldnt handle the look, so i quit. But the game seems to be running just fine. Can't seem to figure out how to disable the aspect ratio or whatever it is that's causing the stretch.
I tried to go the dxwind route as some people have had success with it, but I can't seem to locate the Lords2.dxw file for the import...
