A Kiss For Petals: Maidens of Michael removed from the store
This game was removed from the Steam store when I wanted to purchase it. Please put it back Valve! There's no reason to remove it, especially when the prior game in the Kiss for Petals series involving the exact same kind of content with the exact same characters in the same setting is still on and has been on Steam for over a year.

Please put the sequel back up Valve! I love romance and Yuri stories.

Valve have nothing to do with those games. MangaGamer is publishing them.

Valve is the one who delisted it from Steam though.

There's probably a reason why.

It's the same content wise as the first game, so I'm not sure how they'd have a problem with the sequel but not the original. The original has been on Steam since 2015. Someone claimed it had nudity in it but supposedly the person who claimed that used a third party tool to fabricate such, as the game was an all ages release of the VN.

Well best you could do is ask the devs or maybe contact the support

I still have a buy button :? Could mean it's just delisted in your country? But if you really want it, I suggest checking other online stores and buying from them. I believe Humble Bundle should have it.

Are you sure you have a buy option for Maidens of Michael? I'm not talking about the game I linked in the OP (that's the prequel that has been on Steam since 2015) but it's sequel. I live in the US

My mistake :) Comes from skimming. I see your issue, but I still suggest getting it from a Steam Approved reseller, such as Humble, Fanatical or GMG. They generally supply steam keys.

Unless there are other issues involved, like Copyright infringement where all keys are pulled till it's sorted. In that case the best recourse is to contact the applicable developer or publisher.

Just for interest, the game's hub has an ongoing thread about it being removed and news is they're working on it.

I just checked, and it's gone from all three of the stores you mentioned. I can't even find this VN (Remembering How We Met) on those sites, but it is still listed on Steam.

Afterwards I checked as well and did some research. It was removed for legal reasons everywhere, namely Canadian laws. Some Canadian user reported the game for showing breasts on its apparent high school characters, breaching depiction of children in sexual content laws or some such.

The developers are working on removing the offending content, after which it will get listed again. You can follow up on their Twitter if you so like.

Will this be coming back now with Valves recent statement of allowing everything as long as it's not illegal or trolling

Considering it was illegal in Canada, that's a pretty up in the air statement. We'll have to wait and see.
