The claim of Japan winning Battle of Jiksan is unreliable
The claim of Ming troops routed and Japan lost only 29 men and orderly retreated came from 日本戦史, which was written during the Imperial period prior to WWII. Wikipedia uses it but it's not serious historical literature.

Well it's debatable. It depends on what point of the narrative is considered part of the battle. If one only considers the part until Kuroda Nagamasa's withdrawal due to the engagement with 2000-strong Ming cavalry, then we can say that the Chinese won the battle. If one includes the succeding turn of events, where Nagamasa met up with Mori and the Ming eventually withdrew back to Seoul, then we can say the Japanese won as they actually held the ground around Jiksan in the end.

So in terms of the game, the historical result is that the Japanese should be able to hold on until the arrival of reinfocements. This means winning the particular scenario.
