The host key don't display on the Windows (The key has 64 letters and doesn't fit in the window)
But on the right, you have a copy button. This button is working properly. It copy the key in the clipboard. If you paste a text anywhere (for example: in a chat) it will paste the key.
Where you create a game, there is a checkbox "public game".
- If you check your game to public, your game is displayed to everyone who select "play online" & "join game"
- If you create a private game, you need to give your "Host key" to your friends. They must paste the "host key" when they select "join game".
Today, i published a fix to correct this bug. If you don't see any update, restart Steam to force the update.
Thanks for the report.
NB: I created a multiplayer sub-forum for players who want to organize online games.
PIN THIS!
I had to start the game first to get the code, you actually DO just like; "drop in" to an already running game.
