We still love it, advise from me never multiplayer pandora runs and expect 2.5 min pvp ques. But the coop mode with friends in oversky is unrivaled, and game is still amazing. Did i mention steam achievements?

Takes a few minutes to find matches generally, but game is still very alive! Around 2 tournaments a month still also.

As someone that played during the beta up until 4 years ago or so, let me assure you something, this game is dead. It used to take less than 15 seconds to find a match when the game was first released, and that was ONLY on PC.

For anyone looking like i did:
I reinstalled after last playing 6 years ago.
I can find matches anywhere between 1 and 3 minutes.
In the 40 matches I've played this week I've only played against the same person twice.

I wish this got revived, relaunched or remade. By far the most fun I've had with a digital card game. The board is just so unique and interesting.

Multiplayer might be dead but there IS still a lot of fun single player content. So if you just shift your perspective and think of it as a single player strategy/deckbuilding/puzzle game rather than a failed MP game, it looks pretty successful from that angle and has many hours of pleasure to offer. It's not like, say, Gwent, which will really have nothing to offer (as it currently stands) ifonce the MP (fully) dies. It's much more like Eternal (not in terms of mechanics but in terms of amount of good SP content).

In fact, this might ironically be a funner SP game then their explicitly SP follow-up, Roguebook. Not that Roguebook is bad....it's just arguably not as good or as essential as Faeria.

Game is alive, PvP works, but community (forums, boards etc) is rather dead.

I'm never to the game and while I love the concept, I can clearly see where this game failed. Not many new additions to it (120 cards over years), pvp needs a playerbase and the pve you are left with is frustrating as hell because the AI is cheating so hard, it's pretty annoying. Even meeting someone with a really good pvp deck is more fun than playing the AI.

i love it ive been playing for about a week after i purchased the all dlc, expansions, etc and i definitely like the game. i hope it gets more traction and the devs work on it again. its well worth it honestly.

The game is very much alive, and quite fun. Match times vary depending on time of day and sheer luck, but it never gets worse than about 5 minutes even in the middle of the night and it's usually closer to 1-2.5 minutes. I think it might vary based on rank somewhat as well. Lately I've been getting matches in less than a minute but that might just be due to the fact it's a weekend, and perhaps a bit of luck.
