Is this similar to Culdcept Saga?
So this is a card game combined with a board game?
It looks like it has similarities to Culdcept Saga?

Hm. I don't know Culdcept Saga so I just checked some Youtube videos. So one thing is for sure: Faeria has no RPG elements or story (there is some lore in the game but it's not important for the gameplay).

So my advice is: check out this short video which explains how you place lands on the board of Faeria. You will see that there are cards in your hand to play, how the board looks and that you have to place lands as a requirement to play out your cards (which transforms into minions on the board or spells). The four glowing "orbs" on the side of the board are sources to get "faeria" (= mana) you need to pay in order to play out your cards.

I hope it helps you to figure out if this is something interesting for you. If so then there are lots of other videos on Faeria's Youtube channel or on "The Hub" ( faeria.com/the-hub ).

That was a short and helpful video. I'm a fan of MTG, so I might try this out.

Culcept Saga's board works a little like Monopoly.
You move a player along the board and need to fight if you land in an enemy place.
If you lose you lose resources.

The game was released in 2006 for the Xbox 360. There are some other titles in the culdcept series, but I think that's the best known one.

I didn't know what Culdcept Saga is, so I watched some videos. It seems more fast-paced than Faeria.

Depends on the set goal. A game could take a couple turns to win if the goal amount is small. With a larger goal and a bigger baord it could take 30 minutes or longer. It wasn't a good game to play online due to the long play times. It was mostly for story mode for me. It also looks like they released a Culdcept game in 2016 for the 3DS, 10 years isn't too bad to wait for a new version :)

Here is a battle in story mode against the final boss, 1 hour video :)

I don't know how feasible it would be to port one of the 4 Culdcept games to Steam. Culdcept Saga would be the best. Making a new game just for Steam might not be worth it.

Anyways, I bought Faeria and it seems like a pretty solid TCG so far.
