Pandora question.
Now a Pandora run now consists of getting to 6 wins or 2 losses before it ends. Do you have to play to the end of a run before you quit, or can you stop with, say 3 wins & a loss, and come back the next day? Also, reading some older posts about Pandora, they mention things like padora coins, and shards & Pandora points. I know that the game has gone thru a lot of changes in the last year, and I think that they have now done away with the Pandora coins, but I am not sure about Pandora points and what they are used for.

Also, after about 30 hours of bug free play, I have occasionally had a problem with my on screen cursor freezing up during play. I was playing my very first games against a human opponent yesterday, and after losing my first two games I was actually winning my third game when my cursor locked up. Luckily this happened during her turn, and by the time she finished, cursor control had come back and I was able to finish the game and actually win. However, a couple times in the last week my cursor has locked up and I simply had to shut my computer down in the middle of a game and restart it. What if this happens in the middle of a Pandora run?

This is also making me a little gunshy about playing more pvp battles because I am afriad my computer will lock up in the middle of a game, and the opponent will think I just quit because I am a sore loser. ( and yes, as a beginner there is probably a good chance that I will be losing if it happens again :slimehappy:).

You can stop a Pandora run at any time and come back to it whenever you want. Pandora points are used for monthly ladder resets. You get rewards based on how many you got, though they will be reset to zero after each monthly ladder reset. And each ladder reset happens on the first Monday of each month.

Well, if your issue is your computer struggling to handle the game, you can try using a few tools on your computer that are made to improve overall performance, like a disk defrag. You can also adjust some settings here and there in an attempt to improve performance, like lowering resolution and quality. I suggest trying these solutions and see if they help.

Not sure whats going on. The compter ran the game just perfectly for the first 30 hours of play. It is only the last few days that I have had the problem. I guess I will just have to see if it persists, and hope for the best.

One thing that I find strange is the cost to enter Pandora. To start a Mythic run you pay 2400 gold shards. However even if you win zero games you get 2000 gold back? I wonder why they didn't just make the cost of a run 400 shards, then?

When I first started posting on the Faeria boards on The Hub, shortly after the game came out on Steam, the first question I've ever asked was the same as yours. I was immediately reassured that yes, you can stop a run and come back to it - just make sure you finish your current game :)
I was also told that the runs have no "expiry date" - you can come back to an unfinished run in 2 months, and it will still be there.

Have you noticed that different game modes award different numbers of shards - playing against friends or in Practice Battle mode gives no XP and no shards; playing against AI gives reduced XP and shards for wins only; PvP of all kinds gives shards and XP for both wins and losses.

The devs just wanted to make sure there was a need to Earn the ability to play Pandora - preferably by playing against other people.
