Personal Opinion about Grip
I think Grip is going in the right direction with all the ideas they've introduced in the game, what I slightly don't like is the new handling, cars have completely lost the grip, you just end up crashing very often because of a little bump or things like that, but everything else looks promising! it reminds me of JAK X for ps2, arguably the best combat racing game ever! keep it up boys!

um the whole game is just fantasy racing - what was great about the original rollcage was the thrill of speed and the thrill of spawning your mate on finish line with a well timed missile or timewarp - however after playing this for 6 hours i must echo the above and say that at times the car does not seem to respnd as well as i think it should even though i dont know what a car going at 500kph should do lol.
You need to have a slightly more forgiving crash physics with bumps in the road and also rocks on the side but also not sacrifice skill or speed - if people want a realistic 500kph racer where the physics are real i can recomend Jet Racing Extreme which took physics just too far - in fact that game if developed right could contend with this game in terms of thrill of speed - except its in early access and will probably never move forward because the dev just wants realism as opposed to a very good playable game that doesnt destroy your ego along with your car. Which is why the original rollcage was so good. If you knew the tracks well enough and knew when to use weapons where and how it was awesome.

Dont forget double turbo in rollcage and double super turbo in stage 2. It was absurdly fun to try to break all speed limits going mach1 in those games :D However the stages in the afformentioned games were tiny compared to grip. Devs please make the turbo boost instant. That one powerup was skill based cause if you effed it you went waaaaay of into the sky :D

The double turbo in Rollcage was a bug actually :3

Well in rollcage 1 you could have 2 turbos on r1 and r2 and you could press them both and FLYYY LIKE AN EAGLE. And after 20 years if its trully a bug it was a magnificient one :D

also we need to be able to boost ourselves with rockets i have been trying to do this but it seems that explosions dont boost your own car - this was a cool trick to do.

Also - I know we have time trial mode and we can remove pickups but can we not have like say just a Rocket mode where every powerup is a rocket or the one that i want is a speed mode where every powerup is a speed boost. Adding modes like this will make this game be a natural succesor to the rollcage series without it just being a clone of rollcage - i like that you put in the carkour courses which are rollcage 2 really - Also what would be absolutely amazing is if you could unlock the original rollcage tracks -

Yeah i tried to rocket boost too. I even was using the flying signs to boost myself in those games. Oryginal tracks would be hard to implement because they were tiny.

I like that they have a track named after the Char from Rollcage. - BTW i noticed in splitscreen player 2 does not get to choose what car they drive - do they drive what car I am driving?

Yeah, if I go over a small bump or touch another car, it's end of race. Glad to hear it's not meant to be like this lol.

The cars need more acceleration. Doesn't feel right yet. (The race start is soo boring)
The car speed feels also to slow.
The machine gun needs a complete rework, some kind of laser sight or traceable shots.
Please add a default button for the options.
Also some kind of description what the options do would be nice.
A racing tutorial is needed.

Beside that, great game yet.

I don't mind the way it starts. Makes me feel that these cars are big giant beast machines like they are supposed to be. Look at a rocket ship taking off into space. The first couple of seconds it's just accelerating very very slowly, trying to move all that mass.
Car speed slow? I dunno about that one. Seems very fast to me.
Machine gun works great. They don't simply lock on to you every two seconds and ruin the race. Plus you just have to learn to use them at the right time behind a fellow contender. In fact, I never miss with the machine gun anymore since I easily got used to it.
Tutorial I definitely agree on. But i'm sure that's not something at the top of their list just yet.
