How do I activate first person view?

I'm a first person purist for racers, except rally or ballisticng (anything where I need to see my ass), but I don't like either of these ones. Bonnet cam is too much car. And then there's the hologram that doesn't need to be there.

I'm sticking in 3rd person as this kinda is the rally game of the futuristic racer world. Plus those tyres are phat lol.

(iirc it's d-pad up/down? dunno about kb)

We specifically put it in for VR so that you didn't feel nauseous when you were unexpectedly smashed sideways or came of the track and tumbled around. We care about your breakfast you know.

In the next build due out shortly there will be a slider option to make it more transparent, to the point of total transparency if that's what you really, really want.
