I actaully was the one that requested that because I use a ps4 controller.
Yea, thats what I've been using. Works pretty well for what it is and I guess itll do the trick till they get around to adding ds4 support.
There is actually a PS4 USB wireless adapter you can for PC without needing software. Cant remember the name but i saw one in my local shopping centre this morning. Go into your local game store and ask if they have anything :)
I specifically bought pair of DS4 to play on PC and it works well with the steam and GRIP - sometimes there is a lack of rumble due to native DINPUT drivers but steam is working on it because XINPUT is supported better for XBOX controllers.
with DS4 you have 3 options:
USB wire + Steam
Bluetooth + Steam - (do not buy Sony PS4 USB bluetooth, it's expensive and crap, get yourself a plugable usb bluetooth 4.0 for half price. put it on extension cable so there is a clear space between controller and BT)
In case you really want rumble, you can mask your DS4 with ds4windows utility as Xbox controller and hide it.
