Population and political tree becoming empty.
Hey, just wondering if anyone could help me with this problem i have been having. i have had G2R for ages now and i love it but eventualy when in really into it and i have grown businesses and the city had grown, it seems like no one is entering into politics. The population seems to be dwindl;ing a bit too. It's no fun being one of only three politicians in an imperial city. Does anyone know what do do there?

Try adding in more dynasties when you're setting up your game. More dynasties means more potential politicians. I'm assuming the map you play on has more then one city/town/village. Simply put: If there are multiple cities/towns/villages, the dynasties will be split among them. Meaning not everybody is in the same place.
The second suggestion is try to distribute wealth, which might sound odd for a game where one of the main things you should be doing is hoarding gold. This is because to enter politics you need money, bodyguards (which also cost money) and rank. Rank also requires money. Lots of it. If the AI doesn't have the money to buy the rank, it can't enter politics. If it doesn't have the money to pay for bodyguards, it tends to die. You can "distribute" wealth by simply gifting large volumes of gold to various dynasties (preferrably the head of the dynasty as only they matter).
The third is to check what the AI is doing. Is it's trade being interrupted? Are they fighting eachother? etc.

It's a bug because IA need lot of time to be NOBLE (rank to take advanced political place)

Thanks for the advice. Yes a little trade is being interupted but mainly because due to the dwindling population, nothing is being purchased at the market and so the market buying price gets lower and lower and the stick builds further. There is some fighting but no fatalities, nor has the death penalty been issued. I'll try adding more dynasties to my maps and stick to maps with maybe jsut one of two towns.
Cheers.

Plague can wipe out the your population as well, and sometimes thre simply isnt enough hospitals for the plague to die down.

One time plague got so bad, the one fully upgraded hospital had all it's supplies used up, and noone could get cured in time. If thats the case make a hospital or fund theirs
