Hmmm, can someone tell me if I'm right.

So I have a pawn house and I put credits in my bank. People get a loan and after a while they come and bring the money back. Of course it would be normal if earned something with this. But does the money go dirrectly to me or to the credit stack?

when they repay the loan it goes back into the credit account to be loaned out again... when they pay the interest that goes into your personal money pool

So is the banking system fixed now then? I've read that it's broken, and possibly getting fixed in a patch. Did that actually happen?

Its fixed, but not perfect. I have trouble with the coins being manufactured at banks. They go to the market and never decrease, meaning there is no market for them economically as an item.

As long as you can sell it it shouldnt be a problem right?
Don't pay attention to the market anyway.
It is 100%simulated what sells and what buys.
The game just takes some and gives some.
I found out when I cleared all other families and owned all factories.
And stopped transporting to the market.
But still stuff was added and sold.
Then I wonder by whom since I didnt provide any nor take any.
At that point I only played as a rogue since being a patron/craftsman/scholar didnt make sense to me anymore.

I've recently tried the banking side of the game myself and am having issues with nobody coming to my bank. I've upgraded it to level 3 and have put in around 20,000 gold to be used for funding but after 10 years I've not seen any of it being taken out for loans. I even tried using my family member to go sit down and offer up loans at the loan house (high skills in virtually every aspect) but to no avail. Not sure if this is a random bug or something still needed to be fixed in coming patches??

@Requal, you really need to calm down. You already posted your opinion of the game being 99-100% simulated economically in your own post. If you are that upset over your own observations I would highly suggest you simply quit playing this particular game instead of trying to hi-jack another OP's thread.

They came to take out loans when I sat someone down. If it helps, I'm also using this modpack.

I totally forgot to mention that I was already using the Legacy mod pack :D Did you by chance notice if anyone was taking loans just by walking into your bank as well or is only when you sit your sim down for loans?

Yeah they only come to take out loans when you have selected a sim or urself to provide loans. I have like 13 debtors and like every once and a while they repay the loan but it only goes back to the credit account I dont see any intrest being added to my personal bank. My main trouble is I can't get people to pay me back I have lvl 9 in barganing and 6 in rhetoric. And still getting like 1 once in a blue moon that pays me back. and now Im hardly getting any loaners at all I was thinking becus it was raining maybe. But its becoming really tiring I'm just ganna wait for Guild 3 and hopefully that should be alot better. I know I could just pick a different buissness but I really. wanted to do the banking thing and roleplay as the Rothschild family lol.

Basic question -- how do you put credits in the bank? I thought maybe it would be obvious when I upgraded the building but it's still not. I would like to play with it and see what happens and I can't figure out how.

There should be a tab that says control credit business when you click on you banking business
