Courting

I just started this up again after 5 months. My character has met a man and they are courting. They are in the Public house where they danced and hugged. What do I do now? She has no gifts to give. Since they hugged I guess no other interaction is available? My goal is to start a dynasty.

You don't need gift's after the cooldown just kiss/any of the other actions other then hug if he is still not at 100% do another hugged action and so on

I have a formula that gets me a wife everytime I do it so I it every playthough. I just do every action in stread of giving a gift in order from first to last.

After each courting actions there is a cooldown of 1hr 30min or 2hr in game time (I cant remember) then just use another action after cooldown, and repeat until they're in love with you :). No need for gifts :)

Gifts and activities do speed up things a lot though. And don't forget that each class has its own favourite courting style (and that same things have no or less effect when used repeatedly).

Gifts can be rather cheap and does speed things up a bit, just head over to the market and buy a ring for like 100 or so and put it in your character's inventory. Then you can gift it.

Have the other one follow you around. Then you can do your work, like working on the field and use each cooldown for kissing or whatever.

Only hugging and complimenting seem to work for me. Anytime I try to kiss, if the bar isn't at 90% or so, I get slapped. So I would hold off kissing until you're ready to seal the deal.
