Expanding Into Multiple Cities

I'm on my first playthrough as a scholar. When playing as a patron my supply chains always got large and unwieldy. I'm making so much money as a scholar I'm wondering whether I should expand into other cities or just focus on my home city? Also, can your staff give sermons at churches or just family members?

if it's like the medical, yes you can use your staff, when you select your staff (like when you select your avatar picture on the side of the screen and not in the building picture), look in the bottom you have all the action, but some action ask some item, like for the medical if they want to try to sell miracle medicine, they need to have it in her stock before begin to shoot to attrack people on the road, and you need to choose a good place, else the only thing you will convert it's the cow Ha Ha Ha..., but i have never play the church, just test it fast fast..., i don't love the religion thing...

oh!, and if you find it easy to be a scolar, try to be a doctor in the hard level, you will have some hard time for more years with the black plague, if you survive..., in my game, i thing we have lost neer 200 people perharps more in 3 city only in some years Ha ha ha...

for the expansion, it's depending of your playstyle, but you need to keep in mind if you go in an another city, the Ai there will not view this funny, and you can finish to have more ennemy on more side they come...,

my playstyle it's to consoliding my position in the city i start, try to buy the more building i can with one member of each work in the familly (scolar, artisan, farmer), try to send away all the AI dynastie (the one you need to win again her) for now i have succest for the first city, but her they have make the same thing on her side, and it's will be not easy for me to take position in her city, like it's neer imposible for her to come in my city, i have buying all the house, so if they want to come, they will need to sleep in the road ha Ha Ha...

but you can try too to have one of your member in each city with her house and try to evoluate, but i think you will have more ennemy in no long time...
