Hi did they ever fix the black plague problem. I havn't played in a while and last time I did had to download a mod which worked half the time. I hope they added a option to disable it. Could you guys let me know before i reinstall thanks.

I believe, if you have the legacy mod pack, that Plague is disabled or very rare when you set the difficulty to easy. Have fun :)

I also googled and found instructions to modify the incidence of plague and other diseases. I think the defaults are ridiculous (like 50%). I remember modifying the appropriate files (they're just text or XML) and reducing it to 0.01% or something and that took care of that. It was ages ago though so I don't recall the exact fix, etc.

Yes the new developers fixed it I think the patch isn't on steam though.

That being said I have yet to see the Plague and I play on really big maps...

Hey, don't talk about Plague like that! It's a good cash for hospital owner and a good way to get rid of competition without getting your hands dirty!

In my game it wiped out my employees every year or so and finally wiped out my family. Besides, those hospitals are poorly run. My head of household died standing in line! :p

I remember when i played before updating it to the modded version that never got through the `1st gen because the plague was to OP it wiped out everyone. plus if i started or married a scholar the hireling would get stuck and not treat anyone, and the plague spread to fast one game i remembered having 160ish meds for it, and ran out just treating bergen
