And what is not working as expected?
Install I mean lol I really don't know how to install mods,i am not very savy with computers.
If you can help me I would be grateful :D I really want to play the guild2 with no bugs and enjoy it like it was supposed to be enjoyed. Such a great game !
1. Did you manage to download it and do you know where to find the file on your pc?
2. Do you know where your game folder is?
3. Do you know how to delete a folder?
4. Do you know how to unzip the mod?
5. Do you know where your towel is?
6. Do you know how to copy&paste the content of a folder?
There are install instructions on the download site. And the thread on this steam forum has a link with install instructions that supposedly includes screenshots.
Yes I downloaded the mod first,than I unzipped it with WinRAR,and I do have that extracted on my desktop atm. I do know you go to the Guild Folder from steam {browse local files}
Now I don't know how to copy and paste the content of a folder and I don't know what folder to delete :D We are getting somewhere now lol Step by step
Yes I cannot get those screenshots to pop up,that is my problem lol
Alright.
1. Go into the game folder. You should see a "GuildII.exe" somewhere in that folder. Along with subfolders like "DB", "GUI" and others.
2. There's also a folder "Scripts" in there. Delete that folder (select and press "DELETE" on your keyboard OR right click and choose "delete"). Now, there shouldn't be a folder "Scripts" in your game folder anymore...
3. Go to your desktop, open the folder you extracted the mod to. You should see folders "DB", "GUI" and others (should be seven of them).
4. Select all folders you see (CTRL + A would do the trick...)
5. Copy the selected folders: Either right click and choose copy or press CTRL + C
6. Go into the game folder again. right click and chosse "Paste". Or press CTRL + V once you're in the game folder.
7. The system should ask you about overwriting files. You do want to overwrite files.
You should now see a folder "Scripts" again.
