alchemist (scholar), maybe farmer (patron), stonemason and tailor (craftsman) are pretty easy to learn and have low risk. Avoid rogue, smith, bank for the start. If you want some interesting change of gameplay go for tavern (especially if you try the megamod), church or hospital

I like the rogue, keep it simple with pubs and the travellers. Nothing illegal and you bring in the cash. It also allows my main to be free to butter people up so I get elected. My wife would either be a scholar or smith, which is great to get great potions or the smith for armor and weapons.

For me I usually start with smith. The key is to get up a woodcutter so you have a free source of wood. Marry a patron, start up a croft, get it to the second building level and now you have a free source of leather. Take your smith to the second building level then save up until you get about 10k gold. Take out a loan for 22k gold and buy/build a mine. Now you have a free source of iron. pay back the loan and get back on the positive side as quick as you can and now you're home free. As you can tell the key to the game is to get as self sufficient as quick as you can so that you're not having to buy resources at the market at a huge markup.

is there a way i can set my handcart to go from my place of production to the market to sell and back automaticly instead of always having to do it manually?

Yeah... when you click on a transport, the second button from the right will let you set up a trade route. One thing to be aware of, when you're selecting your buildings in the trade route interface, there's a button that says something like "This building is not important". You should pretty much always click that. That tells the transport to just do as much as you can depending on slots and storage space and move on to the next destination. Otherwise, the transport will just sit forever at your shop or market until it can completely fulfill the request.
