The Guild II: Renaissance

The Guild II: Renaissance

Does rogue is good class in yours opinion?
Although this may be a silly question on my part, because in the old days I spent hundreds if not thousands of hours in this game.
But now I would like to start over after a very long break.
I thought about choosing the rogue class, because in the olden days I liked to make my character a pimp who has a brothel in every town and is publicly seen as a noble patrician who finances various investments for poor people. How close it was to our European or American political class.

In addition, the rogue class probably had the highest rate of return of all classes in this game.

What do you think of The Guild 3, I have all the other Guild releases, but I didn't buy The Guild 3 because it has terrible reviews and is bugged

Rogue is a great class. It doesn't have the massive lump income of a Craftsman or a church Scholar, but it has the best passive income in the game. You will pretty much constantly be makinh money. It's also pretty hands-off, which opens you up to do more with your character than just work.

As for Guild 3, I believe it has great potential. It was released ridiculously early, and the original team earned its bad rap, but since the new, much more competent team has taken over, I believe it will become even better than Renaissance. Just gotta wait out the days until it becomes that great game.

Rogue is a balanced class. Yes you get good passive income that you don't have to micromanage, but everyone in the town ends up hating you because you steal from them, etc. Without the thieves guild, your income is gimped if you decide to play nice. So it evens out, I almost never start as a rogue because it makes it much harder to get into politics. Once you gain high offices though, people will kiss up to you no matter how much you steal.

I talked about "The Guild 2" with my colleague, an elderly gentleman who is an avid player despite his age.

He was very interested in this game, I played as a "rogue" but not my rogue was not a thief but a pimp :steammocking:
The older gentleman was very confused but amused when I told him what profession my character was doing. :steamhappy:
