Only 3 playable characters?
so i recently bought this game cause i love the Sims Medieval and this is the closest game i could find to it. The experience has been enjoyable and ive had a lot of fun. The problem is, i now have 4 characters in my dynasty that are of working age, but i can only play with 3? Is there a reason for this? Or a mod where i can play with everyone? It's really killed the game for me now that i cant play with everyone in the dynasty.

Limit to 3 at any given time.

There used to be a cheat mod to let you change active member at will. However, you might not a bigger mod to get it to work. Or, you will have to assemble to mod yourself (carefully copy and paste).

You can swap between the members of the family as needed, but one thing to be cautious of, and a few to be aware of.

You can still run any business even if that family member is not currently active.

They will hold any office they've been elected to, and will vote for you, so long as their office is not contested. If their office is challenged, they will resign automatically. It can be annoying.

There is no penalty to swap them in or out, and can be used to level up a character by making them head of the family, BUT BE CAREFUL to use the bottom buttons to (With the character selected) to ADD OR REMOVE from group. DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT use the family tab to "Add or Remove" because that, for some reason, banishes them from the family.

The megamod let's you switch freely between your character, but beware of switching too frequently.

I don't use mods though, so it's not helpful for me.

But I do still love this game.

It works in the base game aswell, just don't remove family members via the button in the family tree

Mostly because I prefer the way the devs made it, and demand they make a good product vs just taking the lazy way and saying "mods will fix it" if any game has a "must have mod list" I see that as a problem the devs need to look at.

In this case, mostly it's because I would prefer only a few changes, mostly light duty, not the completely overwhelming and sweeping changes the "Mega mods" entail for the game.

You have a point, but in this case, this game was abandoned long time ago. You cant talk with your wallet to the developers because they arent here no more.

I'm aware the DEV is long gone. Game wasn't abandoned, it was finished.

That said, I do want to do some things with the game, but not necessarily the HUGE overhauls the mods I've read about for this game do.

Some lighter duty changes would be awesome though.
