ingratiated? I can't do anything to the stupid NPC

This is getting to not be fun at all What the hell is ingratiated I cant sabatoge I cant finish them off I cant threaten them I can't do anything except go to court and get executed. How is this any fun?

Ingratiated status usually happens after a family had threatened your family. Your family won't be able to do any harm to said family for a period of time while said status is in effect.

yes but the problem is then second the threat wears of they instantly threaten me again. There is never a point where i'm not threatened. I can't even threaten them myself matter of fact I can do absolutely nothing to them ever. Basically I'm getting ready to quit the game and leave a bad review what fun is a game where i can do nothing against the enemy.

At one point i just took all my group outside the city knowing they would come out there and threaten me I attacked him before he threatened me had him on the ground and was going to finish him off and it said ingratiated. how can that happen? he threatened me while unconscious?

Tbh, I'm not really sure what is triggering the AI to constantly threaten you this way (since it never happened to me unless my reputation really tanked to zero). Could be a bug in the current game, does this occur to you as well in other games?

They can only threaten you if they have evidence against you. So if you murdering your way through the game, thats probably why. You could still do other hostile actions that are more indirect. Like charging them in court with fake evidence or using powder of dark decay or secret mixture to let them die of sickness and old age.

Maybe insult and duel work aswell? Not sure

I have the mega mod and I'm starting to think the save I have is corrupt. I finally was able to threaten them myself and 5 minutes later they threatened me again. I didn't even think that was possible, I can't threaten them while I'm under threat how can the AI? Also when the threat on me wears off it still says ingratiated when I try to do anything to them.

I haven't murdered, sabatoged, robbed, or anything like that I'm playing a crafter not a rouge. My assumption is they are using sorcerers documents on me over and over again.
