What’s your preferred way to play?
My best game right now is on the 1 year time frame, and I’m playing as a rogue against 3 other dynasties.

Started out with one Pub where I had all my employees performing services around town while I served customers. After upgrading to a Hedge Tavern I started expanding to the other 3 towns, building one in each and setting them to AI ran.

At this point I started bringing in like 10,000+ gold a day with all the prostitution and kept buying titles, and got married to a patron woman.

After I had a maxed out taverns in all 4 cities, we started building Inn’s in each town. After making out those, and buying 2 Mercenary Castles we moved on to the most profitable of our enterprises which is...

The Overseas Trading Tent. I have 6 horse drawn carts waiting on standby right next to it and fill all 6 of them 2-3 times a turn for huge profits. I also have Merc’s collecting tolls on both sides of the compound the trading tent it set it (Bonn). We’re bringing in close to 60,000 a turn from the taverns/inns and 80,000-120,000 from trading.

Family assets sit around 1.3 million gold and the closest family too us is around 300,000, the other 2 are less than 100,000 and the game has been very peaceful besides some plundering that I just write off as a business expense to not deal with courts.

All of our children are getting max education in all different classes and future plans are currently... purchasing mines, starting a armor forge or jewelers... then starting a bank to lend out money, and a church lastly.

After that I’m sure I’ll get bored and decide to wage war on the other dynasties until I’m the last man standing... which won’t be hard since none of them can seem to keep up with business (legit they have been losing ground on the chart and flattened out long ago) and I have a standing army with the best gear I can find.

I’ve never played a dynasty to the death of the patriarch and I’ve gotten kinda invested in role playing him as this bootstrapping dude building his family into the richest in the land and he’s almost 50 now so... candle is still pretty big but we’ll see haha.

My preferred way to play is without bugs that are gamebreakers. The fact we can't loan money out or desposit,or use the pawn/bank period makes the game unplayable.

Nothing will ever be fixed unless you use a mod that takes away alot of the features from the base game.

This would of been a great gem if only the devs didn't suck.

Well I am still learning the game so at first I played in Transylvania and choose a patron.

I always go for the bake shop as it has a weird glitch in that the cart is at the shop and at the market at the same time. So I can buy and sell very quickly. The location is too perfect so I have to start with it. Building my own orchard is a must and when its up and running money is no longer an issue.

The only problem with this map was no water so I couldn't check out he fishing shacks.

I have tried the crafting profession but it seems like easy mode to me as you make soooo much money quickly. Just buy a mine and its frankly funny.

I am currently playing as a scholar and learning their buildings. So I cant really comment on them and have not tried Rouge yet but did watch Muh dry-breads tutorial on them so will give them a try next.

So far I like Patron best.
