I did consider tweaking the dynasty colors a bit, (DynastyColors.dbt).
Some .dbt files aren't too hard to understand and edit .. you could set all TITLE upgrades to the price of 1 gold, for example.
I like the VANILLA game though, and have not modded anything yet ..
The vanilla game is pretty crappy too though. The AI doesnt make orchards, for example, and randomly decides to build woodcutters or not.. So for a long time the market is without many vital resources. Fajeths takes care of the market and missing buildings, but the hourly spawning resources breaks the the whole system.
You are better off using the Legacy Mod in my opinion.
I'm currently using the Mega Mod Pack with "Trade, War, Politics", but the passive opponents ruin it mostly.
Will try the Legacy Mod, ty for the advice.
p.s. someone mentioned in the mega mod discussion: Did you switch your base game to "latest patch" in steam? If you don't the mod doesn't fix much.
Hmm...
Anyway, the legacy mod is probably the best version of the game right now.
Agreed. Sooo true.
