Question about offices

Iam having a little problem. i entered an office (dont know english name of it) Only one more Office is above me. Except for te Mayor whos at the top. My Wife is Below me. I hope u know how my offices look like now.
My problem is that the Office above me is a Family member of the Mayor. The mayor rly loves me but of course allways votes for his Family Member. Iam a little bit stuck now because she is well guarded and doesnt seem to leave the Town. So assasinate her is extremely hard for me without beeing caught. But i want to be the Mayor. just to achieve that all offices are later under my Familyßs control. Ideas and tipps would be great thank u :)

Options:

1) Wait. At some point the mayor will die and the office will become open.
2) Don't kill the mayor, just "delay" them to keep them from going to the meeting. Spindle from a ♥♥♥♥♥ camp works well for that.
3) Make others dislike the mayor so they do things to trip up the mayor. Discord, posting libel, etc. will encourage them to maybe take care of your problem for you.
4) Get all the votes you can and depose the mayor. The Mayor cannot vote for themself. Convince the others to either vote for you or somebody else - the mayor only has the one guarenteed vote.
5) Move to a different town and become mayor there.
6) Shifting your office to something that will remove an "enemy" from theirs, making alliances with others (and starting a feud with the mayor), making yourself unchargable and just murdering them anyway...

There's any number of options to remove rivals.

Why assassinate when you can legitimately kill someone by insulting and then dueling them?

Well i could never kill somebody in a duel. The Doctor were allways stopping the duel before somebody could have died.

Please note that I did manage to kill my adversary in a duel. I hit all 4 shots and he died.

I think there is a fixed number of shots/turns in a duel cause my second duel I only wounded my opponent before the dr called it.

If the opponent gets (I think) less than 20% health, the duel ends.
He have to go from 21% or more to zero to die.
10 martial arts is the sweet spot, of course, save scumming works wonders.
It seems all 3 options do the same damage but are based on a different atribute. So depending on your build, you can test out different combinations to get a kill on a duel

well maybe somebody is interested in how i solved this problem. I didnt :D Right after i asked that here the mayor had to leave and a new mayor were selected. He liked me aswell and didnt have any family members in the offices. :D So no problem for me to gain higher offices

Interesting. I would like to add that the duel where I killed my opponent I had a pretty much maxed out char - 10 martial + I used duelling gloves and the metaphisical belt :)

Another Question. I wanted to Marry a woman but i couldnt because the were working in another Dinasty. This is not the problem. But that happened 3 times with different woman. So i forced a woman to marry me :P
BUT she doesnt want to make babys with me. Okay i can understand that because she maybe doesnt "love" me. So i take her to a bath for two and after that they make a baby. My question is. Can this happen with a woman that "loves" you rly aswell?

Yes I experienced it as well. Even with a "love" marriage. What you need to do is woo your wife into the mood:) A kiss and a dance at the tavern should do it. I get a notification saying "You are iressistible" when the wife is ready to receive my advances :)
