Does field number actually matter?
Hi, I started as farmer for the fitst time today and got kinda confused.

I see it si possible to have multiple workers to work on the same field, but the game kind of encourage you to have more fiedls except for diversity.

I wonder will having multiple workers working on the same field hinder the productivity to some extend or it just doesn't matter so I only need one field for each type of corp?

More workers on the same field mean more product when it "ticks".
1 farmer crops 4 barley (for example) in 15min (IG)
2 farmers will crop 8 barley in the same amount of time.

Which means there is no advantage to have multiple fields for the same crop?

Yeah, I believe so. So don't buy more than 1 wheat field or 1 flax field.

There's no need for multiple wheat and barley fields unless you have more than 2 Farms, in which case if the other farm is far enough from the grain field, then it might be useful to sow a bought field nearby.
